UNDERSTANDING YOUR WIRELESS OPTIONS
DigiGames offers several wireless solutions to meet your needs. Here are a few things you should know about our various wireless solutions:
Wired: Normally, each player position connects to the controller with a standard 6’ phone cable which can be extended safely to 50’. The controller then connects to the USB port on your computer via a provided 25’ serial to USB line. The serial (DB9 male to female) can be extended safely to 200’.
Wireless Option A: The individual player buzzers are wireless to the computer (no controller present) or stand-alone controller. In this configuration, the software identifies who hit their buzzer first. Your computer screen and attached monitor, projector, or TV will display “Player x What is your answer?” Use this option if you want the player buzzers to be out throughout the audience.
Upgrade option is $49 per player position.
Wireless Option B: The player buzzers are wired to the controller with a standard phone line, and the controller is wireless to the computer or stand-alone controller. This option is useful if the contestants are on the stage, but the computer is in the back of the room or behind a stage curtain.
Upgrade option is $249 per complete system.

Please note that in this option, the buzzers DO NOT flash on and off as an onboard identifier as the identification is handled visually through the software. The flashing lights are only available in the wired option above or the “Wireless option B below”.

Wireless Option B: The player buzzers are wired to the controller with a standard phone line, and the controller is wireless to the computer or stand-alone controller. This option is useful if the contestants are on the stage, but the computer is in the back of the room or behind a stage curtain. The onboard lighting flashes on and off as an onboard identifier of who buzzed in first.
